Advanced somatic bodywork training with gentle hands-on therapeutic support

Who This Advanced Course Is For

This course is designed for therapists who already have a foundation in Craniosacral Therapy or Myofascial Release and are ready to work with more depth, presence, and nervous system awareness.

CST-Trained Therapists

Ideal for practitioners who have completed CST 1 and CST 2 and want to deepen their ability to listen, hold space, and support body-led release.

MFR-Trained Therapists

Designed for therapists who have completed MFR 1 and MFR 2 and want to expand their skills in unwinding, tissue listening, and therapeutic presence.

Advanced Bodywork Practitioners

A strong fit for therapists who are comfortable with gentle hands-on work and want safer tools for supporting emotional release and client-led processing.

Prerequisite: Participants must have completed either CST 1–2 or MFR 1–2 before attending this advanced class.

Why Therapists Take This Advanced Course

This course goes beyond technique. It helps experienced therapists develop deeper listening skills, stronger therapeutic presence, and safer ways to support the body’s natural unwinding and emotional release processes.

1

Deepen Your Clinical Presence

Learn how to stay grounded, neutral, and fully present while working with subtle nervous system responses, tissue patterns, and body-led release processes.

2

Support Emotional Release Safely

Develop practical tools for consent, pacing, grounding, containment, and regulation so you can support deeper client experiences without overwhelming the system.

3

Expand Your CST or MFR Skills

Build on your existing Craniosacral Therapy or Myofascial Release foundation with advanced dialogue techniques, unwinding approaches, still point work, and therapeutic listening.

4

Learn Client-Led Therapeutic Dialogue

Practice gentle, non-leading communication approaches that help clients connect with sensation, awareness, movement, imagery, and the body’s innate wisdom.

Through demonstration, guided practice, partnered exercises, and experiential learning, you will leave this course with practical tools you can begin integrating into your professional practice immediately.

What You Will Learn

This advanced experiential course combines hands-on bodywork, therapeutic dialogue, nervous system awareness, and somatic unwinding approaches designed to support safe client-led release processes.

Somatic Dialogue Techniques

Learn neutral, non-leading communication approaches that help clients connect with sensation, imagery, movement, and body awareness safely.

Myofascial & Positional Unwinding

Practice gentle hands-on approaches that support spontaneous movement, tissue release, and nervous system regulation without force.

Still Point & Body Listening Skills

Develop deeper listening skills through stillness, craniosacral awareness, tissue tracking, and therapeutic presence.

Grounding & Regulation Strategies

Learn practical tools for consent, pacing, pendulation, containment, and integration to help create a safer therapeutic environment.

Therapeutic Presence & Holding Space

Strengthen your ability to remain grounded, neutral, compassionate, and client-led during deeper therapeutic processes.

Practical Integration Into Clinical Practice

Gain immediately applicable tools that can be integrated into CST, MFR, massage therapy, and other hands-on therapeutic sessions.

Important: This course is educational in nature and focused on professional development, therapeutic presence, and body-based somatic support techniques. It is not psychotherapy training.

What Makes This Course Different

This is not a technique-heavy seminar focused on protocols or force-based treatment. It is an advanced experiential training designed to help therapists refine therapeutic presence, deepen listening skills, and safely work with subtle therapeutic processes already emerging within the body.

A Client-Led Approach

Rather than directing the process, you will learn how to follow the body’s cues through stillness, sensation, movement, imagery, breath, and tissue response while maintaining neutrality and safety.

Deeply Experiential Learning

Through guided practice, live demonstration, partnered exercises, and integration work, participants experience the material directly instead of only learning theory.

Nervous System Awareness

Learn practical ways to recognize overwhelm, support regulation, use pendulation, and help create a safer therapeutic environment for deeper body-based work.

Therapeutic Presence

One of the core focuses of this training is developing your ability to stay grounded, compassionate, and present without trying to fix or control the client’s experience.

This course draws inspiration from osteopathic craniosacral traditions, myofascial release approaches, somatic bodywork principles, and decades of clinical experience.

Designed for experienced therapists seeking more depth, awareness, and confidence in their work.

Frequently Asked Questions

A few important details to help you decide if this advanced experiential course is the right next step for your practice.

Who is this course for?

This course is designed for therapists who have completed either CST 1–2 or MFR 1–2 and want to deepen their hands-on skills, therapeutic presence, and ability to support body-led somatic release.

What are the prerequisites?

Participants must have completed CST 1 and CST 2, or MFR 1 and MFR 2. This course builds on the touch, listening, and presence-based skills developed in those foundational trainings.

Is this course psychotherapy training?

No. This is an educational bodywork course for professional development. It teaches somatic dialogue, consent, grounding, unwinding, and therapeutic presence within the scope of bodywork. It is not a substitute for psychotherapy, medical care, or mental health treatment.

Will emotional release happen during the course?

It may. Because this is experiential work, participants may notice sensations, emotions, movement, memories, or insights. The course emphasizes consent, pacing, grounding, containment, and personal responsibility throughout the learning process.

How hands-on is this course?

This is a highly experiential two-day course. You can expect demonstration, guided practice, partnered exercises, body listening, somatic dialogue, stillness, movement, and integration activities.

Can I use these skills in my massage or bodywork practice?

Yes. The tools are designed to support advanced hands-on therapeutic work, especially for practitioners already trained in Craniosacral Therapy or Myofascial Release. You will learn practical approaches you can integrate respectfully within your professional scope of practice.

What is the course investment?

Tuition is $725 CAD. A payment plan is also available at 6 payments of $121 CAD.
