when it's safe to administer massage therapy to someone affected by cancer. -
Overcome fears and misunderstandings about providing massage therapy to individuals with cancer or those undergoing cancer treatments. - Gain an understanding of biomedical cancer treatments and learn adaptations in pressure, site, duration, and position for safe massage.
- Develop enhanced critical thinking skills essential for working with clients with cancer.
- Learn to safely work with a lymphatic system compromised by cancer treatment and how to recognize lymphedema.
